When Ian and Jen moved to Holmfirth to take over a congregation of just seven, they took a bit of a leap of faith. But, by God's grace, this church is growing...and growing. The first week of October they changed locations for the third time...and changed their name to better represent what God had for all of them: Full Life Church! "All in all, the fellowship of this church has found a new life and joy in the Christian lifestyle..." They have a relevant message that touches people's lives; believing that church should be part of life, not just somewhere to go on a Sunday then go home.
 
The profile and influence of the church grows within the local community in such a way that the church was asked a few years ago if they would help with the turning on of the Christmas lights. "Because we want someone to bring something of the real meaning of Christmas back into our town," was the request from the local business association chairman.
 

They were part of the parade and carried banners that proclaimed "Jesus IS the Reason for the Season!"

 

Full Life Church has launched some exciting Friday night events for young people and were thrilled when a secular youth group wanted to plug their young people into these events.

 

Surely this church is experiencing and proclaiming the Full Life available through Jesus Christ! (John 10:10)

 
The town of Holmfirth is a vibrant market town and is set in a great rural location and central to around 19 villages with a total population of around 33,000.
