So they tell me I need to start blogging. Many of you may already know, but for some of you like myself, let me explain.
A blog is a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soap box. A collection of links. Your own private thoughts. Memos to the world.
Your blog is whatever you want it to be. There are millions of them, in all shapes and sizes.
In simple terms, a blog is a web site where you write stuff on an ongoing basis and then those who read it are free to comment on it or link it or email me – or not.
So I am going to start blogging. You will find a weekly update from me every Monday – maybe more.
As a friend told me, “Pastor Rollie, just be yourself and let everyone see you as we see you in our mentoring group.”
So I am going to do my best to express interests, impressions, thoughts and observations on life in general. I will make an effort to not be preachy or write sermonettes but to express myself in a personal way. The more you read along and comment the more interesting it will be for all of us.
So, I guess I am now officially a blogger!
